To establish free health programme, this programme will be established to support the whole leprosy community and as a result the fund for free health care will be set and will provide and cover financial support for all medical and health expenses.
Water programme, water is a crisis within the Dodoma region leave alone the Hombolo village which depends on the water pond which is mineral and salty in nature and unsafe for human basic needs like drinking and cooking, as part of the project the water programme must be established to provide safe and clean water to this community.
Education support programme, educational area is a disaster comparing to the number of schooling age children who stays at home and school attending children from this community, it’s less than only 2 children who can attend each year education due to different difficulties and problems, and still those who attends are facing different problems like lack of school fees, books, uniforms and still lack of food at home when they come back from school sessions, so this programme intends to cover school fees area, school uniforms, books, tuition fee. And at least each year the programme will be responsible for the education of 8 children from this community.
Food programme, the main broad problem these people encounter is hunger and famine, and the establishment of food programme will give this community relief, enough food will be needed at least to feed this community twice a day, and related to the topic that is why the farming and fishing programme will be established to facilitate this programme after the first or second donation, the truth is its not everyday these people will depend on the donation food so however they need to produce and save for themselves through fishing and farming programme.
To provide the better home for Leprosy/ex-leprosy families, as well known those leprosy families/community from Samaria lives in small huts with no good housing condition, no basic human needs and no good social services like clean water, healthy services which favors their condition, however Hombolo still their home, so as we look forward to extend those social and health services to their area, on the other side the renovation of those houses and huts they live in will take place as a part of improving their housing condition.
To create awareness among the society i.e. It’s very surprising that still in villages, cities and town most people lack leprosy disease awareness, and that’s what makes lives of people from leprosy communities miserable, and this is because the society treats this community unfairly due to the lack of awareness about the disease itself, so as a part of the project awareness programme will be set and through tour, newspapers, TV and radio stations the education about the disease and how society can live and help this community will be provided freely.
To inspire self reliance among Leprosy and ex-leprosy community, as part of the project the fishing and farming programme will be established to help them run their daily basic lives, according to their health conditions some of the people in this community cannot participate in any income earning activities so the programme is established to support the living status of those from depending donations to depending on their own production.
