The House of Mkoi's
A 65 years old Mr Saimon Mkoi who is about to get married on saturday 20th of August is deemed to complain about his wedding commetee whom they have decided that Makande will be the suitable meal for the wedding celemony while the Hombolo audience witness the 65 year old man Mr Mkoi marrying his long long time fiancee Dina mkoi, the two reached an agreement of marrying after long time relationship which prized them two children and couple of grand daughters and sons, the groom and bride are among ex-Leprosy patients however treated but remained with deformities, Mr Mkoi thinks because of his Leprosy history that is why people trying to ignore the fact that 20th of August will be the happiest day of his life and he deserves a lot better than makande on his wedding however he is poor and live a hard and difficult life.
Mr Mkoi says "i was born normal like the rest of them and got sick when i was older, still its not my fault so why people judge me for God's decision and decides to punish me on ma wedding day, there is no any drink, any music, just Makande", he drops with it "and the only crowd will get is my fellow ex-leprosy patients because no one from the village will come to witness a wedding of a leper and thats sad".
N:B makande is a mixup of boiled beans and maize, however is the most cheapest poor food for poor people in the villages in Tanzania.
Imagine people have never considered you worth it in your entire life not even on your wedding day, when this stigma, hummiliation and discrimination of leprosy and ex-leprosy patients will stop among the society, these are people with fresh and soul, on top of that they were born fine and health jus like you, so why discriminate, why stigma?, people its time now to wake up and stop insinuating them, they need your help jus like the way you need from other.
